Q: โ€œWhat level of fitness is required for martial arts?โ€

Youโ€™ll get in shape as you go. You donโ€™t have to be in great shape to start.

The great thing about martial arts is you can be at any fitness level and do great. Thatโ€™s because thereโ€™s no rush or pressure to do anything quickly. You can learn at your own pace.

If you have a knack for it, you can speed through techniques. If itโ€™s a bit harder for you, take your time. All we care about is that youโ€™re having fun, learning and progressing, and staying safe.

Q: โ€œIs martial arts violent?โ€
No! Because self-defense technique is taught in martial arts, itโ€™s often thought of as violent. However, the philosophies behind martial arts revolve around peace and harmony. The moves are more of a way to become connected with your body. We teach diplomacy and friendship. However, if a violent situation ever arises in your life, youโ€™ll have powerful tools to defend yourself and your loved ones.
